Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen, an American television journalist, is currently affiliated with CNBC. She serves as co-anchor on CNBC's shows 'Squawkon on the Street' and Closing Bell'. Although she's an Ohioan however, she was not interested in markets or currencies in her time in college. While at New York University she interned with ForexTV.com. This was when she had her first exposure to business news. The Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University gave her a master's of broadcast journalism. Then, she completed a four-month internship at Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. She returned to America and was hired by Bloomberg's New York office. Eventually, she became a anchor on television. In December 2013 she was employed by CNBC as reporter. Prior to her appointment at "Closing Bell', she was co-anchoring 'Worldwide Exchange' and the 'Power Lunch'. Eisen has been co-anchoring 'Squawk on the Street' since 2014. She is one of the most respected business journalists today. Since joining CNBC, her primary concern has been the global news for consumers.
