Jana Kramer, an actor and singer-songwriter who is a specialist in country music and songwriting rose to prominence on television after she was cast as Alex during the final three seasons on One Tree Hill. The show featured her in a number of episodes as a new country artist, which allowed her album to reach the Billboard 200 Top 20.
